Large Period Houses
Wimbledon, Richmond, Dulwich, Blackheath and Beckenham. Multiple bathrooms, high demand, and the properties where fitting a combi because it is cheaper produces a system nobody is happy with. System boiler plus unvented cylinder is usually the correct specification.
Post-War Estates & Riverside New-Builds
Thamesmead, Kidbrooke, the Greenwich Peninsula, Woolwich, Nine Elms and the Croydon towers. A mix of individual boilers, communal heat networks with heat interface units, and older electric heating. Long pipe runs and radiators sized for a much hotter flow temperature than a condensing boiler wants to run at.

Whether your flue is legal where you want it is a borough-by-borough question, and getting it wrong means an enforcement notice and a second installation at your cost. All of South London is a hard water area. It is why plate heat exchangers fail early, why an unflushed system voids a new boiler's warranty, and why every install we do leaves with a magnetic filter and the correct inhibitor dose. An installer who does not mention water hardness has not thought about how long your boiler will last.
