A Move That Actually Runs to Plan

Most moving-day horror stories come down to two things: a quote that changes, and a crew that treats your furniture like freight. We fix both.

Fixed Price, Agreed Upfront
We survey, we quote, and that is the price. No hourly meter running while someone looks for a parking space, and no invoice that arrives bigger than the estimate.
Insured From Door to Door
Goods in transit and public liability cover as standard. Your belongings are protected from the moment we load them until they are in the right room at the other end.
Furniture Handled Properly
Blankets, covers, and corner protection on everything that needs it. Beds and wardrobes dismantled at one end and rebuilt at the other, not dumped in pieces in the hallway.
Packing If You Want It
Pack yourself and save, or hand the whole job to us. We supply boxes, tape, and wrap, and we can do fragile items only if that is where you want the help.
London Knowledge
Narrow staircases, permit bays, red routes, and third-floor flats with no lift. We plan access at both ends before the day so the van is not circling the block.
Weekends and Completions
Most moves land on a Friday or a month-end. We work seven days, and we build in slack for the completion call that always comes later than promised.

As Much Help As You Need

Some people want a crew to carry boxes they packed themselves. Others want to hand over the keys and find their home rebuilt. Both are fine.

Packing & Materials

Boxes, tape, bubble wrap, and wardrobe cartons supplied. Let us pack the whole house, or just the kitchen and the fragile items, and keep the rest yourself.

Furniture wrapped in protective covers ready for transport

Dismantle & Reassemble

Beds, wardrobes, and flat-pack that will not fit through a London doorway in one piece. Taken apart at the old place, rebuilt at the new one.

From Survey to Keys in the Door

A move goes wrong when nobody checked the access, the volume, or the completion time. So we check all three before we quote.

01

Free Moving Survey

We look at what is actually going, and at the access at both ends. Stairs, lifts, parking, and permit bays. That is what decides the van size and the crew, and it is why the price holds.

02

Fixed Written Quote

One price, in writing, covering the crew, the van, the mileage, and any packing you have asked for. No hourly rate, and nothing added on the day.

03

Pack & Protect

If we are packing, we arrive the day before with materials. Furniture is blanket-wrapped, corners protected, and beds and wardrobes are dismantled ready to load.

04

Move & Rebuild

We load, transport, and unload into the rooms you tell us, then rebuild the furniture we took apart. Boxes land in the right room, not in a pile in the hall.

What Does a Move Cost?

The honest answer is that it depends on how much is going and how hard it is to get it out of the building. A second-floor flat with no lift takes longer than a house with a driveway, and that is what moves the price.

The figures opposite are the range most London moves land in, including the crew, the van, and the mileage. After a free survey you get one fixed number in writing, and that is what you pay.

Home Removals FAQ

How much does a house move cost in London?
A one-bedroom flat move within London typically costs £350 to £550. A three-bedroom house is usually £700 to £1,200. The figure depends on volume, distance, access at both ends, and whether you want us to pack for you. We give you a fixed price after a free survey, so there are no hidden extras on the day.
Are my belongings insured while you move them?
Yes. We carry goods in transit cover and public liability insurance as standard, so your belongings are protected from the moment we load them to the moment they are placed in your new home. If you own anything unusually high in value, tell us at survey stage and we will confirm the cover in writing before moving day.
Do you pack for us, or do we pack ourselves?
Either. Plenty of customers pack their own boxes to keep costs down, and we are happy to just load, transport, and unload. If you would rather not spend your evenings wrapping crockery, we offer a full packing service with all materials supplied. We can also pack the fragile items only and leave the rest to you.
Can you dismantle and reassemble furniture?
Yes, and it is included in most moves. Beds, wardrobes, and larger flat-pack items usually have to come apart to get through a London doorway. Our crew dismantles them at your old place and rebuilds them in the right room at the new one, so you are not left with a bed frame in pieces on your first night.
How far in advance should I book?
Two to three weeks is comfortable, and it gives us time to survey properly. Fridays and month-ends are the busiest slots because that is when most completions land, so book earlier if your date is fixed. If you are moving at short notice, call us anyway. We can often accommodate quick turnarounds.
